It's not really that bad IMO. there's only 2 harnesses that have to be taken out and everything's pretty modular compared to Fox cars that have everything chopped up into different pieces. I'd say it took about a full day to stip it all down. Well worth the effort though. :)

Whats up Green. Hows the car coming....

Ive been having all sorts of probs. But I should be getting my engine next week by the look of things...Oh yeah by the way I have been having problem with promotion too incredible after all the good things I have said about them and money Ive spent and all the people ive recommended.

Well...keep us posted

whats going on with pro-motion? if all goes as planned i will be painting tomorrow. after that, i have to pick up the 03 cobra a-arms from steeda and then it is all reassembly. im shooting for 3 weeks for it to be done. we will see though.

Everything turned out fine with Promotion they sorted it out and went picked up my parts..They are good guys out there they are just really backed up.

Great Looking stuff too:nice:

i really need to do all this....i should have done it when i put my shortblock in 6 months ago, but like they say hindsight is 20/20. the next thing i think i want to do though is put in a k-member...

So did you finally get the paint the way you wanted it? I'm definitely going to consider doing a k-member too. Almost seems stupid not to with the motor out. Do they require more than the a-arms, like a coilover kit?

thats why i didn't do it while i had the engine out. If i'm doing a k-member, i'm completely redoing my front suspension while i'm at it which at the time was way too much money

the paint isnt perfect but once everything is in it will look great. as far as the k-member goes, i got the qa1 unit and i am using 03 cobra a-arms. with the qa1 all the stock stuff fits, but you need to grind down the back of the a-arms a bit for clearance. at first i regretted just not putting the motor in, but when it came time to paint the entire car and it cost an extra $1000 for the engine bay i knew i would have regretted not doing it. in my case, foresight was 20/20. ;)
