Finally Got A Mustang!!

Just picked up my 98 mustang gt. It's a 5 speed car. Has some issues but I plan on saving her.
Current issues
Brakes are non existent. But I've heard it has to do with power steering which also is non existant. Brake lights don't work with the peddle. And a few other small odds and ends. But I can honestly say I'm a proud owner none the less.

Congrats. I also just purchased my first sn95 (also a 98gt). It had a bunch of minor issues too, including brakes. Turned out, the rear brakes, which had recently been replaced, needed new rotors. They were so bad, that 80% of the pads weren't even touching the rotors. It also had a miss (plug wires), vacuum leaks, and a broken sway bar end link. After the repairs, I'm really impressed with it. Fun to drive, looks and sounds good, drives great.

Yea? I got kinda lucky with mine it has bbk shorties on it. Knn air intake and some flow daddies (flowmasters) sounds good. Kinda sounds like it has an exhaust leak. Runs good just needs brakes and a new ebrake cable ( broke that today)

I think I need new e-brake cables. Not broken, but I think they're stretched. I need to do some research I guess, but I'm thinking there's no adjustment for them.

That's awesome, Chris! Congrats on the score. A black 5-spd is the ultimate starting point.

Yea I'm pretty glad it's a black car I keep getting red ones for some reason so this is a refreshing change
