After eight weeks to the day, my GT was finally delivered. It's an alloy 08 GT Premium with charcoal leather, IUP, premier package, charcoal dash and spoiler delete.

Special thanks to stangdude2000 for his help.

I don't care for the stock spoiler and would have changed it to the GT500 anyway, so I figured I could try the delete look and add the GT500 later if I wanted.

It was late last night and I didnt feel like making a big post, but the car came in yesterday a week late. This actually turned out to be a godsend since in the last week ford released another grand in incentives, so that's a head start on modding money!!!

I won't get into it too much until the cars broken in, but I'm going to add CMDPs, LTs with an O/R-H and a JLT-2 intake with an X-cal tune (from Bama or Brenspeed). When I get a chance I'm going to make my own LCAs, and I'll put a post in the tech section on how I did it, I've done it before on a trans am and it worked really well.

Also, these are just teaser photos. In a week or so I'll be going into Houston and I'll meet up with my buddy who's an amateur photographer, he's pretty good so I'll post what we come up with.

One last thing, I don't really care for the silver shifter boot bezel (the chrome piece), anyone know if it can just be taken off or if it's part of the boot?

congrats!! nice looking ride. i dont know about the boot in your car, but on my 05, the boot wrapped around the trim ring. to get it off, you just pressed in on the sides and it would pop up. try that on your and see what happens. then you should be able to see how it is attached.

That is what I want and mine doesnt have it.If we could figure out a way, would you want to trade? I also want to get that shifter knob somehow- I was going to look on ebay. THat and the pedals is really the only reason to get the premier trim package?

The premier package also wraps the dash lip, center console arm rest and part of the door arm rests in leather (thats the reason I got it, and the $300 tag wasn't too much).

I'll PM you about a deal once I figure out how mine is attached.

Lookin good! Our cars are almost twins... Alloy is definitely one of the - if not THE - best colors.

I went spoiler-less as well, but I don't think I'm going to put a spoiler on it. Although I do like the Roush spoiler...

I agree, the only color that comes close to the alloy is the vista blue, IMHO. I just like darker colors, and the black didn't do it for me. Took one look at an alloy V6 they had on the lot and said thats it. Probably the easiest decision I made on the car

A spoiler is definitely very low on my to-do list. After the car breaks in I'll be throwing the performance mods at it, and I need to change out the gears since I didn't opt for the 3.55 option.

When I went into the dealer to submit my order, I was planning to make mine black. I never thought about another color... but when I was at the dealer, there was a sweet Alloy GT in the showroom with silver stripes and that changed my mind right there.

I ordered an Alloy and then put silver stripes on it.

Very nice indeed!
I saw Stangdude2000's Alloy last month at a Stang meeting. It is very nice, both inside and out! I'm not one for chrome accents, but the trim rings around the knobs on the console really make the interior stand out without being overwhelming. Will be nice to see better pics of your car o0Dan0o
