Finally got my first car!!

also what do you mean his r134a conversion was done right. how do you tell?
Most people will do the conversion them selves. You can get the kits anywhere. 99% of the time people wont add the high pressure fitting (usually cause the kits dont have one) and none of the kits I have ever done have the holding straps like thoes do. To me thats saying it was done at a shop, so it was evacuated and the seals were changed to the R-143 ones.

I could be wrong and someone just found a good kit and just filled an empty r-12 system with 134

HAHAHAHA! riceslayer302, thanks for the life story.

To the OP, thats a damn nice first car. Like everyone else says, don't drive like a jackass. It'll save you stress years down the road when the cops know you by name and the sound of your exhaust note. :nice:

LaserSVT i dont mean to burst your bubble but it hasnt been converted yet, haha.

Riceslayer thanks for the tips. Ill be sure to drive smart and respect my car and other people on the road.

I wasnt trying to be a douche when i was driving through my neighborhood. It was pretty much my first time driving it and i wanted to gun it a couple times to see what it had. I made sure no one was walking down the street or anything like that.

And about the stripes... Im not too crazy about them either. I could tell this car was very well taken care of and wasnt rigged so thats why i got it, even though it has gay stripes on it.

Well I am an idiot

Thoes sure look like 134 covers, they look too big for r-12 fittings. And r-12 caps are usually black, ALWAYS on every Mustang I have ever seen. Of course I have only owned 11 of them

wow man i feel like an idiot. you were right it is 134a!! the retard told me it wasnt converted but i got to lookin and theres a sticker on it that said it was converted to 134a by a ford dealership. my bad man, u really know ur stuff.

Its cool, I really thought I was a dumbass  I was trying to find colored r-12 caps on one and failed. I still focked up on the alt though :notnice:

Wow, very nice first car. Take good care and hang on to it, it'll only go up in value. Who ever had it kept it very well. i see your from Mi. you shaould bring it to Milan this weekend and put it in the show. Congrats!

Good looking clean stang, welcome to the mustang family. I've had my 87 gt for about 5 years and within the first year I was pulled over 10 times with 4 tickets handed to me. Be safe out there and dont do anything stupid because with any fox mustang you can get in trouble real fast!

Another thing I recommend which might sound weird, go find a large empty parking lot(make sure theres no po po) and do some donuts and some slide/drifts, basicly just get a feel for the car while its almost out of control, because that way when you hit that corner too fast and the rear steps out on you you wont kill yourself and handling the car will come easly and natrualy.

My first car was a 91 GT, AOD, all stock. $2700. Got it a couple hours after i got my drivers license...totaled it 9 days later on the way home from school in icy conditions. Only had liability insurance so i went a while without a car. But my 2nd and 3rd cars were both foxes too.

Nice lookin car. My pace car was my first car and now 7 years later I still have it.

I lived on the stockbridge/mcdonough line for 16 years before moving to macon last year. Both of your brothers vehicles look very familiar like I've seen them around, or I've met him. I have a bad memory when it comes to people though.

Macon is a billion times worse than mcdonough. Im trying to find a new job in atl so I can move back.

I did the AMS drags a few times towards the beginning of the first year they were doing it. I also used to go to the summit car shows all the time.
