Finally, got my Maximum Motorsports full-length subframe connectors installed.

Just picked the car up about an hour ago. It feels significantly more rigid, although I imagine the difference is like night & day on convertibles and Fox body cars. You can tell there is less flex but the main thing I noticed is how much they helped my launches...that sucker just goes in a straight line now and I don't have to worry about the chassis twisting if I end up getting some stickies once the AFR's are installed...I guess it's kind of a peace of mind thing, knowing that I'm gonna own the car for a while and these will help it maintain its chassis integrity.

I've heard the standard lengths are enough for coupes but I went ahead and got the full length powdercoated ones. They look nice under there and I have plenty of ground clearance which I like since my car is lowered.

Does anyone know if you can use these to jack the car up? I know you can with the Global West subs and the Kenny Brown Supersubs (if you get the jacking rails). Wasn't sure about MM but they seem plenty strong enough to use to jack the car up.

Also, my original order got delayed so I impatiently and ordered another set. If you guys know anyone that is interested I'm probably gonna throw them up on the StangNet/Corral classifieds.

Vert owners--get these ASAP! Should be one of the first mods you do if you want your doors to shut right a few years from now. :)

My subs are rectangular tubeing it is jacked up now with the stands on the subs in the front axle on rear for a while now I see no reason. When they are welded they are pretty much just the frame. MM might have the scientific technical facts for why not but I don't have any. If the jack pad thing fits safely on the sub where you are jacking and will not come off I cannot see why. Unless it stresses the car in some way but i think not. With round or triangle subframes maybe for the unsafe jack idea but ?????

I actually had a different experience with my subframes. I found they hurt my launches big time. I was pretty dispointed in the amount of wheel hop i got after.

Damn, I wonder if I should install the ones in my room now...

I suppose I better or my doors won't be closing anymore...:D

I would go ahead and install them Jake...I don't have any wheel hop at all. The subframe connectors let your actual suspension do its job instead of your car flexing and twisting when you go over bumps.
