Finally got some new wheels on my 96 Mystic

After much debate, I finally bit the bullet and picked up a set of OEM chrome 04 Cobra rims with 275/40/17's all around. Thanks for all of the help with the decision on my wheels, let me know what you guys think.

Great choice, only thing i would do differently is pick up 10.5's for the rear.

I'm planning on getting a set of 17x10.5's in the future to use as a drag wheel setup with some good drag radials. The car is my daily driver, and the 315's are pretty expensive so I decided I'd stick with the 17x9's. I really wanted 18 inch Saleens, but same thing, being a dd and tires are outrageous, so I settled for the Cobras. While not my favorite wheel setup, I really think it looks much better than the stockers (which were pretty beat up after 130k miles of use). Thanks everyone!

GORGEOUS car! A friend back home has one too.
Car looks great with the chrome. But, I'm biased since chrome is my favorite "color" lol

Thanks! I really searched through tons of wheels, never even considered the 03 Cobras. Several local guys kept saying I should check into them. I found a pic of a Mystic with satin ones, hated it. Then I saw the very first one with chrome 03's, and I fell in love. I'm really proud of where the car is. Since last March I had the bumpers and hood repainted (clear coat peeling on the bumpers, rock chips on the hood), removed the front license plate bracket, removed billet grille, shorty antenna, and added smoked head/fog lights. I'm finally pleased with the outside, now I can move on to building up the suspension (subframes, LCA's, etc) and some engine mods (starting with longtubes and a tune). Here's a before pic, I think it looks 100x better.
