Finally got the Mach back!!!Pics

So as some of you know, my 03 Mach 1 got rear ended last tuesday. Today is my Bday, & I gotta say the best present I got this year was getting my stang back from the body shop 2day. I know it was only a week & a 1/2, but I missed my ride BAD!!! Anyways I was very pleased with the results. The color Match was flawless, & the 03 Cobra spoiler & mirrors I added make the car look way better IMO. There were a few minor tweeks the body shop needs to fix, but Im gonna bring it back after the weekend. The 3rd brake light I got from Ford has condensation, & I need a new "Mach 1" trunk emblem, so i will get that taken care of on Monday. Anyway, heres a few new pics....There not the best, but I just wanted to get the pics up asap....I took a few in the bright sunlight so you can see the color match.

Its amazing how much cleaner a brand new chin spoiler will make the car look..

Although it looks clean with it shaved, I gotta get a new "Mach 1" emblem.

Thanks...I found the mirrors & the decklid @ Ford auto recycling on Recycle road in Rancho Cordova, Ca. I will admit, it cost more than i wanted to pay, but it was way cheaper than new, & well worth it imo. I always wanted the Cobra spoiler, & when I saw 02laserRed2v's ride, I knew I needed the mirrors too. Anyway, your from sac right, is there any Stang meets this weekend?

Thanks...I thought u were gonna grill me for deviating from the "Mach 1" look. Even though i was opposed to changing anything on the exterior @ 1st, I think the Cobra stuff makes it look 100% better.

I usually dont ask opinions, but I need some opinions on this if u dont mind. Do u guys think I should put the Mach 1 emblem back on the deck lid, or leave it shaved? I think it looks good as is, but I dont want to take away from the "Mach", & I like people to know what it is.

Since it's a collectors item it should say Mach 1 on it, though it does look clean without it. If you went without it would look good to take the other emblem off too. Will be that much cleaner, and symmetrical. I like the spoiler. 916 n 530 bay bee.

I couldnt shave the Ford emblem because the decklid has holes underneath that 1. "916 4 SHO"

COBRA RED 96 GT, I like the chin spoiler on that body style...I havent seen too many 94-98's with it out here in Sac.

x2. I am also one who voted to stay with the stock Mach 1 wing, but have to admit it the Cobra one looks like it belongs with the rest of the package. Nice way to turn the little bump around.

Great lookin car. If it had been me, i may have done like it originally was and paint the cobra wing black how the mach one wing was. Either way it looks great.

+1 for the emblem goin back on.

Looks awesome. Cobra mirrors and wing are nice additions. If it were me, I'd get a mach emblem back on there and maybe black inserts in the mustang lettering on the back bumper to continue the the red/black theme around the car. That wing looks really good on your mach. drool:

Amazing. Great work. I'd pull the Ford emblem and put the new Mach1 emblem in its place. No need to add another emblem to its ass.
