Finally killed my 1st T5!

Well, lets just say that after I shifted into third while driving it very very hard, there are about 30 teeth off of one of the gears laying in the bottom of the case.

Oh well, that's why I have two spares!!!! I really didn't expect it to last near that long anyways, so I'm not dissappointed in it.

I'm surprised you blew it with that kind of power your pushing according to your sig.

2 supercharged stangs on with heads cam intake yada yada on a 302 never broke it.

another 302 with heads cam intake and 200 shot direct port nitrous power shifting on slicks has never broke.

Sounds like it's time you stepped up to a Toploader 4 speed.

Not supprised. Thrid gear is the seconded most common problem with the T-5's. It is the weakest gear in the whole transmission. People do sell kits to fix this problem though.

im slowly losing my second gear...I cant shift hard into it anymore but whatever. I just use it to launch which is kind of ****ty because I still have the stock 2.79's or whatever out back
