I finally decided the setup i am going to go with for my car for my budget. I am getting a 2500 stall speed torque converter , gt40 heads and intake off an explorer, 3:73's, eibach lowering springs, Camber plates, Shorty headers and, an off road h-Pipe. Where do you think this setup will get me Hp wise? I am getting all of this for under 1000 dollars is that a good deal or no?

Sounds like a decent price as long as all those parts are in good condition. I wouldn't expect huge gains, maybe something like 50-60rwhp gain over current. A lot of guys run the "p" heads but to get the full potential out of those you might want to have tmoss port that intake for you and do some intake work ie convert to mass air, get a larger meter, maybe a 65mm throttle body will be best for you. Also look for a good cam for your combo, is emissions a factor for you?

Also, alot depends on the converter and its size. If the converter is a stock size then it'll be hard to extract that much stall from it without addin hp. If you havent gotten it then i'd recommend gettin a 9 inch converter. I know i wish i did and can only recommend you do. Converters are worth their weight in gold and you get what you pay for.
