Ive decided to take the turbo route for the 93 i picked up. I'll be purchasing the kit from on3. Ive searched around for about a month for a good starter kit and these guys offer a great deal. Its mostly gonna be stock with the turbo. i dont see a point in adding the h/c/i i have not yet at least. I plan on sending that motor out eventually and have a 331 stroker kit done.

Well thats my plan at least, hopefully things fan out with these next few weeks of pay..

If On3 has switched away from 304 stainless to mild steel, that would make them the better value kit. But I skimmed over their website and it still lists 304 as their hot side.
Where did you find out they have switched?

"I dont know the first thing on website design. It is out of date and I have been waiting on the 3v kit to be released so we can do our photo work and get everything updated at one time. I have had a meeting and its all in the works. I do know how to work the ebay pages and you will find that has the most recent photos. I can control that aspect and it will have the most current info. If you have questions, we have the number there so you can call and get answer.

Sorry its out of date but its all in the works to be updated, just takes time. "

This is a post from On3's owner that I came across on another forum. I'm considering On3 as well and was doing a bit of research and came across his post. I'd post the link but I'm not sure if it's against the rules or not but you can PM me if anyone wants the link.

Hmm, I had every intention of running B&G because I didn't want to do anything with 304 stainless. I still wonder about the stainless downpipe, especially if you were to wrap it.

But I might have to reconsider On3 now that they are using mild steel for the headers and cross-over.

Here is an ebay page he has up, it's got pictures of the new setup and more up to date info then his website.

Lots of guys over on the Corral are starting to use on3. The owner posts over there frequently. If you want to find out how some of the 5.oh guys are making out i suggest you go search there. I have subscribed to a few different 5.0 builds :)

I am looking at the on3 kit too..but i was talking to a shop last nite that he installed one and he said it wasnt all that good some bad fitments issues..But then again everything needs a little tweak here and there..I told him i wanted to use the kit and he said he would rather build me one using B&G hotside and make his own cold side...i dont know im confussed but he does have a few nice turbo cars he built..

I was thinking last night, and still can't get over the fact that B&G offers 4 year warranty on hot and cold side piping. Even if it just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, Lol. It's nice to know he will stand by his work for that long.

Pricing out a B&G kit, I came up with this basic setup, for a total of ~$2800. You should be able to drive and tune the car. I just surfed completed listing on Ebay for the used stuff.

Turbo Kit B&G: $1,250

Master Power T70: $350 used

Wastegate: Turbo Concepts $65 used

Blow off Valve: Tial 50mm (v-band) $155 used

42lb/hr injectors (frpp): $242 used

Lightning MAF 90mm: $60 used

Walbro 255lph fuel pump: $90

Moates Quarterhorse: $250

Binary Editor: $80

Innovate LC-1 wideband: $210

ARP header bolts: $30

Current Total: $2,782
