I need some advice about the lower front support rail.
See how in the pictures it is bent and a little twisted?
Just wondering what would have caused this. Nothing else in the front looks like it was hit.

also on the fender to frame part, it is bent a little and rusted, what to do to fix this.

more pics later this weekend.

Could someone have tried to raise the car off the ground using these as jacking points? Always like to see another 67 coupe fan! Good luck.......

I agree, looks like someone jacked the car up by the rail, either that or it bottomed out on something like a curb or one of those parking blocks you see in mall lots. Either way, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it as long as it's strucurally sound.

Yeah, know that I look at it it does look like it could have been jacked up on that part.

Man I hate that guy that had it before, he tore out the floors and fabricated his own and then rivited a nother top over that one, metal to metal without rust prevention between. That guy rivited everything, metal door panels, tunk,

Many here are PO'ed at their PO alright. Look on the bright side though, rather than having a fetish with the rivet gun (easy to remove) he could have had a thing for his welder
