FINALLY

Well some of you may remember that last summer after taking the valve covers off the 351, cleaning them and putting them back on (not to mention the bolt that broke off in the head and had to be drilled out and helicoiled ) the car would not start. Well I messed with it for a while and found that I was not getting any spark, talked to an MSD guy that suggested replacing the 6AL so I let it sit the rest of the summer and played with my 71 Lincoln Mark III. Anyway last weekend I started messing with it again, talked to another MSD guy who had me check the 6AL another way. Well the ignition was OK. Turns out the problem was the magnetic pickup in the MSD billet distributor. Got the new one from Jegs this afternoon, swapped it out and for the first time since last May I got to drive the cobra again . You know I do like my 97 SVT but I LOVE driving the 76 .
