I got the t-5 in and now im having problems. i think it might be ecu, but i had the battery disconnected to put my interior back toghether, so maybe its recalibrating. it dies out after 2k rpms. i mash the gas and it just pops power. my back up lights do not work. i have no idea if my clutch is properly adjusted and maybe its just killing the engine..... but something is wrong and it is not driveable.
when its in nuetral it will rev perfect, and its idling high and low randomly...its not jumping but more like high for 10 seconds then normal for a while.....i have no idea what to do...

Check for vac leaks. etc.

The hi low idle is a problem I had when I pulled my upper intake off recently. I thought it was a vac leak or bad gasket. Turned out that I had to readjust the idle and tps. The problems your having do not sound as though thery are related to the T5 swap directly. More like something got tweeked while doing the swap. Check all the ground wires etc.

The reverse lights are controlled by a plug on the drivers side of the t5.

well i used my firewall adjuster and it seems fixed, well at least it would let me mash the gas and roll, but i need friging gears! this thing is moving but not like it should.... 2.73's blaaahhhh.....!!! anyways i have the connection o the side of the t-5 but i dont think i connected it to the right thing, there is one connection just hanging!
