Hi all, I just did the Tr3650 to T56 swap in my 2003 GT, and now I have a problem that I can't diagnose due to lack of knowledge. It goes into each gear just fine and is driveable, BUT:

Only when I let out the clutch ALL the way, a rapid metallic tapping sound takes place, and it varies with the engine rpms. If I place my foot a bit on the clutch pedal, it stops.

What could this be? I already had a Terminator clutch on the car before the swap and so I didn't touch it, but I did replace the throwout bearing.

Any ideas? Clutch adjustment problem?

is it tapping,or more a squeal?
try tightening up the cable alittle.
you can do this if you have an adjustable cable or/and a firewall adjuster.

hope this helps alittle, not familiar with that tranny.
i run the t5 in my 5.0:rolleyes:
