First off, I'd like to thank everyone on here for all the great threads on H/C/I swaps. I've been able to do my whole GT40P swap so far from all the old threads. I only have one last question. I know this has been covered already, but I could not find an answer that I understood. Since my new heads don't have thermactor ports, what do I do with the thermactor pipe? I will be using a new bbk high flow cat h pipe.

If anyone has any pictures of what I should do with the smog equipment or write ups, I"d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Chad

I don't have to go through emissions testing, but I do have high flow converters on my mid pipe. Where did you cap it? Also, I was reading that they'll get plugged if I don't pump air into them. Do I need to be concerned abou this if I cap it?

If I cap off where the thermactor connects, then regular air will be pumped from smog pump to cats, correct? Will this lead to problems with the cats?

Also, what can I use to cap it?

I capped my off road H by welding a copper end cap I had from a left over plumbing project. Ghetto for sure, but no one is looking under my car at my mid pipe. in your case, yes your cats will foul if there is no air going to them. Run the line from your smog pump to air pipe on your H.

Cap the diverter valve to the heads and leave the dirverter/pump to push air to the cats or they might clog....
