I fired the car up for the first time in 2 years. 427 cu with open headers aimed straight up in the air. 8 cylinders playing beautiful music.

Now for the bugs.

The big bug: My stock oil guage isn't showing oil pressure until i hit about 1000-1100 rpm. So i need to find the oil pressure guage and put it on and see what its actually pushing at 750.

The annoying bug: I have a slight water drip comming out of the back of the intake somewere. I torqued down the intake bolts a little and it seems to have stopped but i will have to keep an eye on that.

Oh, My fuel pump is twice as loud as the exhaust out of my little cutlass.

But besides that the car fires right up and idles (at 1100 rpm of coarse). I figure another heat cycle or two on the heads and it will be time to change the oil and put the turbos on... Im excited to here those turbos.

I wondered what happened to your build, glad it seems to be going pretty darn good. How are you liking the Kaase heads? and damn you have some lift on that cam

Yeah, I almost bit off more then i could chew with this project. I had so much work to do on it then i lost motivation because it seemed like when i did work on it i wasn't getting anywere. Finally I had some time this summer to devote to it and i pretty much forced myself to work on it (which sucks because thats the last thing i wanted was it to be a chore. I love working on my car most times)

But now im getting closer to finishing it its becoming a lot easier to go out and work on it. Now im actually pushing other things aside to work on it again.
