It's people like this, that give dealerships a bad name. Being a Ford service employee myself, I can't stand the term "stealership"....and things like this are one of the reasons many people don't trust dealerships....or any service shop for that matter.

Oh, and I love the "I make more money now anyway" thing. That one always cracks me up. Every human being on the planet who has been fired for anything...always seems to end up finding a better job at twice the pay, the very next day. Not that it matters, because we all know how quickly word travels from shop to shop.

Oh, and what kind of shop is filled with techs who don't have their top, right drawer filled with change? Or did they simply think you are not worth the .15 cents to begin with?

It isn't the fact of how much you took, it's that you took it. Says a lot about your character, I would have fired my employee for it as well.

i've started to notice that as well. lol when i told people a few months back i was losing my licence, and how i lost it, there was like 5 guys that were all like "good, i hope you never get it back!" so i see where your coming from.

hell, what a lot of my crew used to do was when they'd vacum the car, they'd just vacum any small change that was on the floorboards, then come lunch time, they'd empty the vacum cans and have money for lunch. lol, that's like 10 times worse then what you did, but hey, it was grease monkey lol, we even had a HOMELESS guy as an assistant manager at one time

the goodies are easier to get when there is no glass. in case the glass does break you offer the boss first dibs on any of the honey buns there may be, especially if there is the chocolate covered kind.
