firewire help for camera

i have a camcorder and i have been taking alot of video of my car. and want to upload it into my computer, the camera has a 4 pin firewire to connect to a computer, i dont have any sort of firewire hookups on my computer, do they make any adapters to use on a 9 pin screw down plug deal? or will i have to get a PCI card with firewire ports???

You will need a PCI card, and a program to capture the video. If you want a decent software package and capture card (firewire), here's an example:

i just ordered a pci card and cable from ebay, will windows movie maker work to get vids on the comp? i dont want to do anything fancy just some simple clips
