O.K guys, who ever said that strokers are not worth it is so WRONG,here is little story that happened to day
I took the car for a little cruse to day,I was stop on the red and there is 2003 GT next to me the dude said nice rims I look over, hi have the same as mine with drag radials, I said same as you, and I ask what hi got done, hi said full bolt ons cat back exhaust,he asked you want to run them, me... may be short one.....
light turn green and we took of I open her up to 4500rpm than shift in second come up to 4500rpm and he was one car behind me, got to love the torque.
Believe me I wasn't even truing so hard because my motor is just put together only have 75 miles on it, car is running rich and timing is back off and car still is running strong.
Guys believe me stroker motors are well worth the money......
I love my car:D

I am going to close this because street racing threads are not allowed on these forums..

BTW.. Your other mods helped you out a lot more than going stroker did. If you went big bore you would have showed a bigger improvement. It's common knowledge that the modular motors suffer from a small bore size ( 3.55) compared to 4.00 in a stock 5.0 this causes valve shrouding and limits the size of the valves. 3.55 bore and valves intake valves in the 1.7x range is VERY small. this is why big bore 3v or 4v is the way to go in modulars.
