I heard the date of October 1st as being the day the magazines no longer have to keep their silence. I have also read somewhere that they actually have the new Mustangs and are testing them now. So if the NDA says not until October, does that mean the first reviews will be in the November issues, or the October issues? Usually you get magazines a month ahead of time. I am just really anxious to see a more professional review of what the new GT can do... and how it compares to other muscle cars out right now.

When I talked to the Ford guys at the Vancouver show at the end of July, they said that the magazines were taking their "first drives" in the first week of August, and full road tests a few weeks after that. So we should see the first drives published probably in the November issues of all the magazines like motor trend, car & driver, etc.
I think you answered your own question. Since Ford has a drive review embargo unitl Oct 1 and the November issues come out in early October, the November issues should have the reviews.
In case you haven't heard, Sept 27 is supposed to be the day the 2005 Mustang is formally introduced. Big celebration in Michican at the plant and Ford is supposedly trying to get at least 1 '05 Mustang to as many dealers as possible for Sept. 27.
