I have a 95 GT automatic and for my first official mods I plan on putting in 4.10 gears, Trans Go shift kit, and a tranny cooler. I plan to have this completed by fall. I say first official mods because when I bought the car it already had a CAI and flowmasters. My stang has about 68,000 miles on it and I was wondering, in addtion to those mods, if I should also rebuild the tranny or even perhaps go with a better one. I have had no problems with the tranny as of yet (knock on wood). Any suggestions to that? Does anyone know of a place in the Phoenix, AZ area that does good work (willing do travel alittle for reputable shop)? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Sounds like a good idea to me, thanks for the replies. Yeah I have seen that All Mustang Shop, but I believe they work on classic Mustangs (1973 and below), it wont hurt to call them and ask for their opinion though, great idea.

I haven't had any work done on my car at All Mustang, but I have heard several stories about people getting ripped off over there. To find a good shop for your tranny, go to 1320stangs.com and ask in their forums. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it yet. Wait till you fry it.

I paid $550.00 for a new clutch install(along w/ everything else). They just resurfaced the flywheel though. Not sure if that was a steep $$ or not, but I was in a major bind at the time and needed my car.

Beau, you could email him for parts and service on your car. I had good luck w/their parts, matching internet prices and picking them up in Mesa(at the shop). Hopefully this will help also.

bought some autometer gauges off of him that i found in the corral classifieds.
great price and he helped me out without telling me when he shipped them. saying there worth less then what i paid for so it saved me on brokerage fees :nice:
