Hi guys,
I bought one of those Beltronics performance meter things (like a G Tech). It is quite reliable from what I have seen and the testing I have done (although limited).
Anyways, this is my best run (out of 5):
60 ft. 2.23
330 ft 6.23
1/8 9.45
mph 75.5
Roughly, this converts to a 14.74 in the 1/4. This is my first time at "the track" (dead, empty contry backroads with no houses). When I shift to second, it gets a bit squirelly and I can feel it step out ABIT. Should I shift easy and then get on it to reduce wheel spin?
Runs were done with 1/4 tank of gas, about 77 degrees outside, semi-high humidity, and 33 psi in the tires, (I know!), and a fairly hot engine.
I know, I know ... practice, practice, practice. Is there any other tips you guys could give based on the times above?
Thanks!
Matt
