I'm new to the Mustang world. I just got a 1966 "Rustang" coupe with a 289CID. I know I'm in for a real learning experience. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Heck yeah I like the potential !!. I just got a 1966 "Rustang" coupe with a 289CID.
The tire was trash. I replaced it with a used one. I have new wheels and tired coming soon!Put some air in that left rear tire and ride
I plan to cut out the rust and weld in new panels. After the body work, I plant to paint it.Cut and buff [everything].
It'll look like a completely different car.
