First time Mustang owner

Get yourself a spare set of rims from CL's and throw some Blizzak's on there. I was pleasantly surprised how well my car handled in three inches of the fluffy stuff.

Don't kid yourself, the stock summer performance tires will not go anywhere in the snow, even if you throw 300lbs in the trunk.

Craigslist.

If you want all out performance when you got to the track, you install a boot; aka. true slick.

If you want all out winter performance you install Blizzak's. To comprimise is a waste of time and a de-valuation of your life. For three seasons I run a summer performance tire ---wide ovals. Winter comes, on goes the blizzaks. I run them Dec through April.

When my wife can drive my GT in 3+ inches of snow and say she feels like she is in her 4x4 Xterra with Dueler A/T's, then you know these are one heck of a tire.
