First time to the track, i need help. Bad traction,upset w/ time =/

new best of 13.9 @ 100 on a 2.1 60' foot.


Going in a week w/ drag radials cant wait to finnally be able to hook and not deal with this on/off feathering clutch b.s :-)

A tune will help you DRASTICALLY. You might want to look into a CAI/Tuner package. Look around in the tech forum, there are literally hundreds of threads on them.
 
Low 12's, high 11's? Depends on if you can drive it and don't mind abusing the hell out of your clutch and if you can get some traction.

Remember guys, when you go to the track take out your spare tire, jack, trunk carpet, rear seat, and then any other stuff you have in the car. I think it's something like every 100lbs. is about a tenth off of your e/t.

When I ran 2 weeks ago I left all those goodies in the car plus my son's car seat as well:rlaugh:
 
Just got my mods done..spent a fortune on them so I hope they pay off at the track. :)

Any idea on times based on my mods in my signature?

Like Hoboattacker said, with traction and aggressive driving I would think you'd be darned close to 11s if not already.
