first v8 build up lookig for help

hey iam new here and new to mustangs i have had some fair imports but iam looking to build a fair 5.0 . iam looking for info on what the weak parts of the car is and what i should start with on making some good horse power whats the best bang for my buck. i will be keeping this as a daily driver and well have about three grand to spend on upgrades. and if you no some good web sites for info that would be great to THANKS for any help i can get

is the car a auto or a stick. the stick trannys r weak. if its a stick i would put a good shifter like a pro 5.0 shifter. on the motor i would do a motorsport cam, trickflow or afr heads, holley system max intake,some bigger inj, bigger tb, bigger mass air with that your money will be gone. if u have the money do a bigger fuel pump and a adj reg

First welcome to stangnet what I did with my stang I bought a 4 banger with an auto and swap in a 2000 Ford Explorer engine and did carburetor I put in a edelbrock intake with a 750 dp. I can go on and on but first make sure what you want and FYI I get 30mpg it’s a 5-speed good luck with the built post some pics
