fitment problems with pi intake

so i'm pretty close to finishing my pi head swap but i cant get the pi intake manifold in place because of the coolant hose running along the valley of the block. when i try to lower the manifold in, the bottom hits the hose...

is the coolant tube in the back of the coolant pump something that needs to be replaced for a pi swap? or is there some trick to installing it?

you need a pi coolant tube, it does not fit because you still have a npi coolant tube.....

lame... dunno how i missed that. aight thanks, looks like i'll have to wait til tomorrow for hopefully the LAST last minute part i have to buy lol.

Ford should have the one you need. Call them and ask for a coolant tube for a 99+ car.

yeah, luckily theres a dealership about 30 seconds from my house so i can just run over there tomorrow n finish it up
