I have an OR H-pipe I bought on ebay for like $100. I was glad I saved the money, but I was kicking myself when i had to install it. It came in 2 pieces with a crappy U-Clamp to hold it together. One O2 bung was in the wrong place, so I ran with 1 o2 for a few days until I could get a new one welded in the right place.

Anyways, what is the best fitting X-Pipe or H-pipe? (Also, is there a big diff. in power between off road and aftermarket catted?)

Thanks :flag:

My VRS has the potential to fit very well.
The installer just didn't adjust it properly and it drags a lot where it meets the catback and one of my tailpipes is rattling against the frame. This just goes to show that a lot of fitment is in the installer's hands. My old BBK off-road h, on the other hand, would have fit like crap no matter who was putting it on.

There is no loss of power whatsoever with a good catted pipe. I actually noticed a good bit more torque all over the tach when I got my catted x-pipe. No sound loss either, except it quietened a little inside the car.
