LOL, fix one thing on this car, and something else breaks.
I got my manual drum to power disk conversion sorted out. My god what a difference. It's a new car.
Unfortunately, it's a new car with a screwed up gas guage.
It worked fine when we started the project. When we got done, it didn't work at all. I figured we clipped a wire screwing with the pedal assembly.
Well, drove it yesterday, and the guage came up, but only to 1/4 tank (the tank is full).
The only thing I can guess is that something happened to the float while it sat in my buddies driveway between our brake project sessions (his driveway is STEEP, steep like gas actually spilled out of my cap when parked nose up). Could the float have somehow gotten stuck/saturated? And can I do anything about it without pulling the tank?
