How much negative camber occurs from just the drop? I am just trying to work out how many, if any, shims to leave out to get the best initial setup. The car has 620 springs with a 1 inch drop.
I just did my '65. I used the 1" drop 620 springs as you are and the shelby drop. I removed 1 shim from each side (2 per control arm). I ended up with too much + camber, and when aligned, they had to add shims back. I know each car is different, but that's how it affected mine.
The specs when taken in came in at (EDIT -1.5 degrees on each side. He set it at -.2 degrees). Some people say to run 1-2 degrees with the Shelby drop, but the alignment shop didn't recommend it on radials, not to mention, 2 degrees is very noticeable to the eyes and looks rather weird.
