I plan on doing a 331 here in a few months, and I'm starting to buy my parts. My plans are to go with a Hellion turbo, so I'd like to keep the compression low. Which of the two will lead to low compression, along with what other factors?

flat tops increase compression
dished lower compression

Alright, but what's the difference between two and three valve reliefs, the piston head volume, and the compression distance?

Lol, I don't know what I was saying...just what I was reading off of Summit. Anyways, I just want to know, what are some good pistons to have when running a .030 over block and a 331 stroker? I was looking at the JE pistons, but I don't really see why they should cost $300 more than the Trick Flow...anyone?

you're only dealing with two valves so I'm not certain how 3 reliefs would work?

Ok, but are the JE forged pistons really that much better than the Trick Flow forged? Better enough to spend $300 extra on them?

Have the 3 valve cut pistons been cut for standard heads and for twisted wedge heads?

I would pick the heads first, then decide how much dish you will need for the desired compression ratio from there.
