I looked into a set 2 years ago and the rep at FAF talked me out of set.
He warned me that stick cars making decent hp WILL have wheel hop. FAF springs need to be used with cal tracks to eliminate the wheel hop. At $400 for the springs and $300 for the cals plus shipping, I decided not to buy a set.
I was also told if I did any autoxing that I would need a device to keep the rearend centered. He told me that the spring will begin to fray at the spring mount if I didn't.
This IS second hand info....so take it for what it's worth.
I do know a couple of guys on here, have had wheelhop issues with the FAFs.
Had the FAF's in mind to use for two years. Pulled the trigger on a pair today, bought'em from Alex at Money Maker Racing.
He recommended 225# rate, for the 2+2. Can't wait to gett'm on & the car running. This thread & the one on VMF were the push I needed. So the "to do list" grows more.
little too wide and had to ground down to get clearance and the bushing id for the shackles was .5" and needed to be 9/16". If youve just ordered them you may want to check diameters of the shackles - I had to drill them out, fortunatley the bushing was thick wall tubing.

What year pony? I have a 66 and am about to order a set but wanted to make sure my front and rear inside diameter was correct when I placed my order.
Front - 1/2"
Rear - 9/16"
Is this correct for 66 Fastback?
