Hey guys. Still researching which supercharger set up I’m gonna ultimately go with, but a buddy of mine that runs a local speed shop that does a lot of work on my car was under the hood and commented on how large the radiator/fan combo I am running looked and how he thought it may interfere with the supercharger and or pulley set up. Is anyone running the Flex a lite 52185 with a supercharger and if so, which supercharger and were there any fitment issues. That radiator/fan combo was expensive as hell and keeps the engine cool as a cucumber so I’m not willing to remove it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys. Enjoy the Super Bowl.

From the sc stuff I've seen posted that use the accessorie belt drive you shouldn't have a problem, now if it has a dedicated belt then you gots not much room.

Are people not running EGR spacers anymore? That is a clean bay and what radiator set up is that?

Looks like a cobra intake and the egr is built into the intake itself.

Ah yes I thought so, just feel like I’ve heard talk about running non egr but maybe that was just me. Does it matter?

EGR's are beneficial and do not cost you any HP.

Honestly those pictures don't show us how much room you have between your crank pulley and fan. Can you provide a picture looking straight down at your crank? No pun intended!

Yes. It’s a Cobra intake with the EGR built in. No spacer. Thanks for the compliments on the engine bay. The radiator/fan set up is a Flex a Lite unit, part #52185. Thanks to the powers that be for fixing the pics. I will try to get out to the garage tomorrow and get some straight down pictures.

Here are the pics. The one that is closest, really close, is the water pump, but that also has a March pulley nose cover on it for looks. I don’t know, what you guys think?

I data logged the before and after while street driving and seen a 12 degree swing... Granted that particular car was turbocharged but I have disabled the EGR on all my cars since lol

It was 12* more with the EGR? I'm always striving for less. Because I have a Stinger PiMP ECU that really doesn't support an EGR I have deleted it. I have higher IAT's due to my Kenne Bell supercharger but that will soon be remedied when I get time to install my ProMeth kit

Removing the water pump nose cover is no problem at all. The question is, do you think that the radiator/fan combo could pose a clearance problem with a supercharger and the pulleys required to run it. I was hoping somebody had this unit in their fox and could say they were running a supercharger. Then I would know I’d be ok. I’m definitely not gonna scrap it. It was way too expensive to do that, plus, it works better than any other radiator/fan combo I’ve seen.
