Removing the water pump nose cover is no problem at all. The question is, do you think that the radiator/fan combo could pose a clearance problem with a supercharger and the pulleys required to run it. I was hoping somebody had this unit in their fox and could say they were running a supercharger. Then I would know I’d be ok. I’m definitely not gonna scrap it. It was way too expensive to do that, plus, it works better than any other radiator/fan combo I’ve seen.

You'd really need to look up the pulley req'd for the kit you want to run and measure it against what you have. Since the supercharger has a dedicated belt the pulley will stick out further. Also, depending on goals, if a 6 rib does fit hopefully it's enough belt. Many go to a 8 rib due to belt slip.

guys with a Vortech that I know of with e-fans are @elarm1 @TOOLOW91 @mikestang63 I'm sure i'm forgetting a couple

Had that fan and an 8 rib setup on on my car with my s trim Vortech .

Switched to a ford contour dual fan and gained room and they outperformed that fan by a mile .98 degree weather in myrtle beach and never saw more then 195 ish .

TOOLOW91. U were running the same setup? Flex a lite 52185, with a Vortech system and you had enough clearance? If so, you are the man. That’s exactly the info I needed. That puts my mind at ease. Thank you for input and for everyone else that replied as well.

It was 12* more with the EGR? I'm always striving for less. Because I have a Stinger PiMP ECU that really doesn't support an EGR I have deleted it. I have higher IAT's due to my Kenne Bell supercharger but that will soon be remedied when I get time to install my ProMeth kit

Yeah 12 degrees more with the functioning EGR.

You'll love the meth injection. One of the best mods I've run

Honestly I would take the guessing out of it and just call the manufacture of whatever kit you plan on going with. Get the measurements of there crank pulley and compare with what you have with your current rad setup.

Wow that’s a way better price. Anything extra I’d need to buy for have it wired up and get it functioning?

You absolutely need a 3g alternator, I have this one from LMR
https://lmr.com/item/SVE-17046K2/Mustang-SVE-130-Amp-Alternator-Upgrade-87-93-50L

You'll need a fan controller. Lots of different ways to do this right. Some use a controller, some use a controller and relay. It's up to you.
I use is a FAL-33054 (flex-a-lite) variable speed controller with "soft start". It turns the fans on at 60% power so there isn't a big amp spike from a sudden load and then increase the power to 100% over several seconds. The controller also turns the fans on for 30 seconds after ignition is turned off to help with heat soak.
