I am replacing my flex fan with a Taurus's fan and the bolts I have to put the waterpump pulley back on are too long. What size are the bolts, and where do you guys recommend I get them? Thanks.
THis probably isn't recommended (or what you want to do), but I have had success cutting bolts to length, then touching up the threads with a file or Dremel.
The only reason I did this was because I couldn't find the correct size bolts....and I'm impatient.
Go to the hardware store and get grade 8 5/16-24 bolts about 1 inch long but double check on the length to make sure they won't bottom out on the waterpump snout.
