I am getting ready to install a TCI flexplate on my 90 5.0 and was looking in tom Monroe's how to build a small block and he mentions the need for a load spreader ring that goes between the flexplates and flexplate bolts to distribute the loads to keep it from cracking the flexplate. Anyone ever use one of these, my car doesn't have one.
