My floor has split on the driver side along the left rear seat bolt, dropping that corner of the seat. It appears to be quite rotten in that particular area. I believe it should be replaced. Do any of you know of a company that sells new floor pans? Do you know of some other alternative?
I would appreciate some input.

Thanks in advance
Kevin

P.S. car in question is an 88 coupe with 280,000 kms on it.
351W T5 trans
subframe connectors (not attached to rear seat bolts).
SN95 power seats

This is a common occurance on these cars. If it's only cracked, have it welded. If it's rotten, you will have to have a new floor section welded in after you have the bad metel cut out.

I feel you on the rot. I just had this done to my stang after my passanger seat was on the verge of falling right off. Anyways I went to Mustangs Unlimited and got the p. side and had it welded for me (btw if you dont have subframes I say get this done at the same time) Thats what I did and the guy even did a nice undercoating to protect it.

So mustangsunlimited.com or 5.0resto.com
