floor it, a sec or 2 later a boost ?? is this right?

lets say I'm in 4th cursin at 3000 rpm's, then after I floor it a sec or 2 later (@ about 3400) I get a boost of power. I'm just wondering is it supose to be like that? is that just the way this Cam is?? or do I have somthing wrong? I had Livernois tune the car so I don't think I should have to mess with the timming? maybe the gap on my spark plugs?? cause I'm not really sure where they should be set. Any help would be great.

Well, the trickflow makes the most power 3400+. I know from experience. You are probably just feeling the abundance of power when you hit that sweet spot. That is where i feel it in my car too.

I agree. Your just hitting the powerband of the cam profile. Feels kinda neat, huh?
