I bought some heads from a fellow stangentter off the classifieds here. I talked to the guy and agreed to do a postal money order. he received this over 3 weeks ago and comfirmed this over the phone. He said he would ship out the next day, but still no heads. I havent been able to get in touch with him in 2 weeks (when i started calling to check.)

I have his home adress and after a few days i can get his home phone social and everything about him from public data here at work, but the guy with the account to run that is on vacation.

I know that i can file for mail fraud because its a postal money order but i wanna see what is going on first.

is there anyone in the fort lauderdale or oakland park area who could help me get in "contact"

its will suck if all my savings will go down the drain and i will have to continue with the stock headed setup for who knows how long.

Yeah and he had the same problem with the postal money order too. And the postal service wouldnt do anything about it. I feel for you though....makes it hard to trust anyone anymore. But maybe hurricane charlie had something to do with it.

no he doesnt post

and it is prosecutable for mail fraud if someone doesnt give you what you purchase because it is through them. This is what i was told by the post office and others who have made purchases in this manner.

I have already gotten his social security and criminal back groudn history and it was clean. I talked with him on the phone and he seemed on the up and up.

the only thing i can think of is he had the heads on the car and was waiting on new heads to take his off and mail them out

I was the one who posted about the guy in FT. Lauderdale who ripped me and 95stocker off. 95stocker started a thread about not recieving an intake from the guy and I had sent out money for the same part the previous week.

His name was John worley. If this is the guy you are straight up screwed. Dont waste time with the police, they wont do anything and they cant. In Ft. Lauderdale they have no laws against fraud regarding anything that involves two states. They claim that its not in their jurisdiction(SP?) If you want this resolved go to court. File for small claims in your state because half of the transaction happened in your state. That is the only way to do it. Go straight to the top. If you dont get ahold of this guy, thats the only thing you can do. Just letting you know.

Good luck, hope everything works out.

PM if you have any questions. The last 2-3 people ive seen posting about getting ripped have all had a seller out of FT. Lauderdale. Just a FYI for everyone else. Just something I noticed when scrolling through the forums.

Dude that sux, I know that area very well. I hate to say but S. Florida is well known for scams that's why so many mofo's there do this kinda stuff. I really hope this works out for you but you must be persistent in trying to contact this guy. Everything is a situation and something could be happening with this guy right now and your stuff is not that important to him b/c he already has the $$. The weather, illness, death in the family, etc.. I know that it sux to have this not work out smoothly but it has already happend and you must play the waiting game.
I hate to have this happen to someone again and this makes this hard for all of to use the classifieds with confidence.

He could be reading this thread right now, so watch what you say.
