Just bought my 2010 GT w/auto. I want to add A/T Flowmasters. I understand there are two options; moderate (3 chamber) and aggressive (2 chamber).

Does anyone know how different the sound will be between the two?

Thamks for your help.

I am looking to replace my magnaflow axlebacks and am thinking about the Flowmaster American Thunder Classics. Some folks have posted that the drone at about 65 mph is deafening in the car. Did you guys find that to be the case. I used to have the boomtubes on my car and it was just too loud for me. How does the Flowmaster compare in terms of drone and volume, if you know, to the boomtubes or magnaflow. thanks guys.

What's the appeal of a chambered muffler that just makes noise over a straight through, more efficient muffler that makes noise AND horsepower?
Makes no sense to me.

What horsepower?? You get like 1 HP for a straight through muffler. The best thing to do is when the weather gets good cruise around for Mustangs see what they have a listen to them in person, hearing them on your computer is not accurate at all.

Mine sound great....you don't want to cruse at 60-65 MPH between 1800-2200 RPM's though. The drone is pretty bad. Not a problem though if you don't settle in there. I have a 5 speed with 3:73's.

Crescent Wrench you were right on. I had the AT Classics installed. They sound great but drone if I am between 60-65. I love the sound so much I am willing to stick with it.
