Flowmaster American Thunder clamps

Ok I've heard about the Flowmaster AT being kinda sucky with rattling because the clamps don't work. I'm just looking for clarification on this cause I want to do the install right the first time. Anyone already put these on their car by chance? How'd you solve the problem?

I bought mine back in the very beginning of September and the clamps were redesigned and were much better than the ones they took the place of...that was by the exhaust guy who did the job. Mine was the 5th S197 he had put the Flows on. I have had no problems with mine at all.

While tightening the clamps that came with my Flows, I actaully broke the bolt on one of them. So I just replaced them with standard exhaust clamps and have had no problems.

i have the standard clamps, never had an issue with them, just be sure to tighten them down to about 45 ft-lbs.
