Flowmaster D-port???

has anyone on here have or heard the stang specific D-port mid-pipe?? theres no pics of what it looks like inside so is it like an x or h pipe? what do you kids think of it??

hm...not sure at all, the only mid pipe i know that flowmaster makes is a 3" header back x pipe with a catback, it comes as a kit and it is 3" piping all the way

nah this is a 86-93 mustang specific mid pipe, its the scavenger series lemme get a link

third post down, hes got a camaro, but they make a stang specific one, but thats exactly what it looks like so check it out

so nobody has ANY info??? i know flowmaster rusts out and **** and there mid pipe for the stang is $300 i think, or at least in that ballpark, do u think its worth it for that much when i could get a bbk stainless x pipe for less???

flowmaster lists no mid pipes at all, I never seen them make just a mid pipe, they made a mid pipe/cat back system, its a 3" system, and its a 3" x/d whatever you wanna call it back to a 3" catback

I got the universal pipe. I will be running it in the next week or so hopefully....

i kno i couldn't find it on the website either but i got the 2005 catalog at the allford nationals and its in there with a picture of it and the car its on, its p# 1045, 2.5", and '86-'93 Mustang 5.0L LX/GT, thats the exact description, but ya nmcgrawj post back and tell us all how it sounds and if theres a noticable diff from ur current setup

thats funny, I've had my flowmasters for 3 years and no rust. and I live in Seattle where it rains constantly

weird, i had a 50 series on my f150 and it was rusting on all the welds around the case

Well i wont be able to tell since im going with a 351 at the same time. I have found one guy that heard a video of it and he said it sounds similar to an x pipe. We will see....
