flowmasters for 05/06 redsigned...

did flowmaster redesign their 05 kits? originally they had 3.5 inch tips now they are 4 inches. did flowmaster re make their kits to kill the interior resonance problem? i just noticed becuase they have larger tips now.. can anyone confirm this..

where are you getting this information?

my 2nd set has been on since labor day and they are 4 inch tips. my first set was one of the first out and installed in the beginning of april. i never measured them, but they look the same in pics. i would say that they were always 4 inch tips.

i forgto which one of teh sites i was on but i saw that the flowmaster tips werent 4 inches, and now i have seen them at 4 inchs, now i know that website can be wrong from time to time, so maybe that is just the case.

Some of the web sites I checked did state 3.5" for the American Thunders. I got mine a couple of months ago (very happy with them, good sound, little drone) and they're 4". I thought they might look too "fart-cannish," but they're rolled and they fill the bumper exhaust cutouts nicely, without coming close to touching.

o ok, i just thought that maybe they changed them to accomodate for the drone someon to reduce it.
