Has anyone put the Flowmaster mufflers on an '07 GT yet? Flowmaster's website shows they are only for the '05-'06, so I'm curious whether they will fit the '07 or not.

yes, they will fit. flowmaster just needs to update their website. there was no alteration to the exhaust for 07, so you are good to go.

He probably means supposed to be installed. There are preferred ways to install the clamp from flowmaster that aren't really covered in the instructions for a rattle free install.

Please elaborate more on the install. I might be conserding these for my '07 due to their price. Some had said their not really that loud. My other choices are the Borla Stingers (had them on my '04) or the MAC's. Eventually I'm planning on adding the MAC Prochamber as well.

Yeah. Whats the trick.
Do you put that split in the clamp around both sieds of the notch?
Or
Do you favor it all the way to the end?

Thanks, Mike

The best way discussed thus far appears to be having the rings of the clamp over each side of the notch and then make sure it's cranked down very tightly. Alternately you can head to a parts store and buy some better muffler clamps, they don't cost much and are supposed to work better.

And they aren't overly loud. They sound great and at lower speeds I think are loud enough. On the highway they're rather quiet and in my mind I like that. If you want raucous they aren't the muffler for you.
