I do remember the took some work to get them adjusted right. Mine was 1/2 inch from my gas tank on one side for a long time. Never caused a problem though.
disreguard the 1-2 shift, it felt like it didnt go into 2nd, so the un needed revving was me trying to find 2nd... I did and it was too late, wouldnt spin anymore.
