I bought some and T@J is installing right now. I'll try to get some picks later once installed (with dyno) As far as the fit.... I'll have to ask Andy tomorrow

Do you have the part # by chance? Also, who did you order it from? Price?

Definately let us know how you like them, and post up some sound clips if you can. Thanks.

Put a set on a month ago, $220 for the headers $83 for the X-Pipe from my local speed shop. Cleaned up the welds inside and out, sprayed them aluminum paint. They look and sound awesome with my cams & T&J Tune!

long tubes were the one of the first mods i wanted to do and i was comparing the mac lt's and the flowtech lt's. if not too much trouble.. would you tell us in detail how or why the fit was horrible and what andy did about it? i dont understand why rcn4him had better luck with than T&J's ????????

mac = $350

flowtech = $220

i would like to go with flowtech's if they are a decent product.

thanks

I've heard of people having problems with them saying theyre cheap junk. I was interested in them b/c theyre supposed to be similar to the hookers same design but I guess you get what you pay for.

I've heard a couple different ideas that probably aren't too far from the truth.

1. The Flowtechs are Hookers that didn't pass Hooker's QC.

2. They are bent on the same jigs, etc. but use smaller gauge tubing, etc.

Again, No problems. I've been installing headers for 20 years, took ahwile on this combo but like anything in life - the next time will always be easier.

I can say that I've never installed any other brand on a 4.6

I've attatched a few pictures on my install

Are you satisfied with their quality? And do you happen to have part #'s for them?

Also, the obvious next question, do you think the price vs performance was worth it?

I for one feel the pipes are worth $220. I own a business and have plenty of money (not to brag) and have spent 10's of thousands of dollars over the last 20yrs drag racing. I've paid top dollars for parts at times that weren't worth a hoot!

I ordered the pipes at a local speed shop, opened the box before I took them home and I'm satisfied

BTW I threw the boxes away and my shop didn't write down any part #s on my invoices.

Took the car to the track and destyoyed the rear end on the first pass but I'm sure the car will run high 12's with the mods in my sig.

Well I hate to ruin it for you, but the flowtechs MAY be good but they MAY not... The drivers side header did not fit together right where the two pieces meet at the collector. To this day, it leaks. I need help badly-now the thing is halfway welded up and still leaks.... I'll have to cut it off...
