Hi all for help,
We (wife and I), have a 2001 Mustang Conv. The other night we were getting out of the car for dinner, and when my wife closed the passenger door we heard a sizzling noise under the car. We could not believe it, so we opened and closed again and heard the same thing. Seems some type of fluid is dropping down on the exhuast converter or pipe. No fluid though reaches the ground. Talking to my wife, I find out that occationally it seems condisation from the A/C leaks into the passenger compartment. Now just to add, the A/C blows cold and seems no problem there. Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It's a well known problem on the V6 Mustangs that the AC evaporator coil drain hits the exhaust. On some cars it causes manifold cracks and exhaust leaks. You should be able to clearly see the AC drain and the path of the water.

Since there's water on the inside, not a bad idea to confirm that the drain is free and clear.

If you are running the AC with the top down, this is going to increase the amount of condensation the AC is going to produce.
