I installed my Fluidyne rad. Drove it to the Mustang round-up then back home. I did not drive it untill yesterday when I had a track day. The track is 5 miles away from my house so I now had a total of 25 miles on it.
As soon as I got to the track the damm thing was leaking like a sive:mad: .
I ran home got my old rad and installed it. The Fluidyne was leaking where the fan bolts to it, once I removed the bolts the coolant just flowed right out the bolt holes like they were drilled through.

What a POS:mad: this thing was leaking like a water sprinkler.

Wow. I've had my Fluidyne for a few years, no problems at all. But companies can change, quality goes up & down. And defects happen too. I agree with go-stang, give them a call. Be polite, but be persistent. Remember, tech support can bend over backwards for you, or they can make life tough. Be nice, and I'll bet you'll have a new radiator out to you real quick.

I think Fluidyne is going down the drain on their quality. I went through two, both leaked from day one. Second one was leaked tested before it went in the car and it leaked with 12 pounds of pressure. I went with a Mishimotto MMRAD-MUS-94A which has been installed about two months and I have had NO problems at all.

$350 vs $200, Fluidyne needs to try harder and stop living on their name.

MY fluidyne has a slow leak on the passenger side. My low coolant light comes on every 3 months or so and i have to top it off. It lets a few drips out every time i stop it. STill cools great though. Ill probably look elsewhere for my next radiator. But for now i can deal with the 3 month top off. In fact my light just came on this morning.

Fluidyne is garbage! I know I'm not helping....sorry

BUT, you either pushed some gunk from the block into it and pressure sprung a leak, or it's a defect. If the latter, it's tough to get help from the distributor when fluid has been put in the unit.

Either way it's BS :bs: :nonono:

I had my Fluidyne for about 11 months when one of the end tanks started leaking. Fluidyne replaced the thing with no questions asked. I got a brand new one shipped to me the day after they received mine back.

At 25 miles I don't' think you'll have any problem getting a new one. All you have to do is call them for a RA# and send the warranty form with a copy of the reciept. Good luck :nice:
