Im going to be purchasing the T5z transmission, with a new 302, im just double checking on this, but im going to need the 50oz flywheel 157 tooth, and a 10.5" diaphram clutch?

i currently have the C4 transmission so i can keep the same yoke, right?

Where could i find the right blockplate too?

sorry for all the questions its my first time, im just making sure everything is being done right.

Thanks for any comments!

I got my blockplate off ebay. If your 302 is newer than 1981, yea the 50oz is correct. My yoke was a pain because two cups were 1" and the other two were 1 1/8" in diameter. The guy said there was no way it came on the mustang from the factory. So I had him make a whole new d/s. Out the door at 184 bucks. But people here say the c4 yoke is fine.

But what about the clutch i need, is the 10.5" diaphram clutch going to be the right one for the 50oz flywheel i'll be using?

thanks for the info on the blockplate and the yoke!

Yup, any 10.5" should do. I'm planning on a king cobra when the current one starts slipping. Of course that's when/if I have a mustang to put it in.
