New to this forum. I'm doing an EFI swap into a '66 using the engine from a '90 Mustang GT w/auto transmission. I have a World Class T5 that i will be replacing the auto with. Is there a difference between the flywheel between the auto ans manual? Thanks..

Yes. Big difference.

You will need a 50 oz flywheel. If you want a stock replacement for a 1990...

like said above..auto uses a flexplate manuals use a flywheel..

an automatic transmission uses a flexplate rather like this one;



where as a manual transmission uses a flywheel like this;

.seems like you got a lot of work ahead of you. How much modifying did you have to do to get that 66 to accept that new engine?
